Terms of Service
Effective August 11, 2026
These Terms govern access to and use of Ecom Upsell Cross sell. By installing or using the app, the merchant accepting these Terms confirms they are authorized to act for the connected Shopify store.
The service
Ecom Upsell Cross sell lets merchants configure product and cart upsell offers, optional percentage discounts, storefront theme app blocks, and aggregate offer analytics. Availability also depends on Shopify, the active theme, product availability, merchant settings, and correct app-block placement.
Merchant responsibilities
- Maintain a valid Shopify store and comply with Shopify terms, policies, and applicable laws.
- Configure offers, prices, discounts, schedules, product selections, theme blocks, and customer-facing copy accurately.
- Ensure promotions and disclosures comply with consumer, pricing, tax, accessibility, and advertising requirements for the store and its markets.
- Keep Shopify credentials secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
Plans and billing
For a paid plan, Shopify presents charges, trial terms, billing interval, and approval before activation and processes app charges. Plan limits shown in the app apply when offers are published or activated. Removing or downgrading a plan does not permit use above the applicable limit.
Acceptable use
Merchants may not use the app to violate laws or third-party rights, interfere with Shopify or app infrastructure, bypass plan or security controls, introduce malicious code, probe systems without permission, or misrepresent prices, discounts, or product availability.
Merchant content and app rights
Merchants retain rights in store content and grant only the permissions needed to process it for the service. Ecom Upsell Cross sell software, interface, branding, and documentation remain protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the app.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, secure, update, or discontinue parts of the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and are not responsible for outages or changes caused by Shopify, themes, merchant configurations, networks, or other third-party services.
Disclaimer and limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or guaranteed commercial results. Ecom Upsell Cross sell is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
Suspension and termination
A merchant may stop using the service by uninstalling the app. Access may be suspended or terminated for security risks, non-payment, material breach, unlawful use, or when Shopify or law requires it. Provisions that should survive termination remain effective, including payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability terms.
Privacy and changes to these Terms
The Privacy Policy explains data handling. We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Continued use after a new effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
